A bathroom design bursting with lush tropical elegance in Woking
Green and gold combine for beautiful bathroom design
Our client for this bathroom design came to us with aspirations to create an elegant, darker toned bathroom, that would feel like a luxurious retreat to enjoy a relaxing bath.
We took this vision, and helped her turn it into a reality, first honing in on a colour concept of green and gold – combining darker greens and wood tones for an organic tropical feel, and adding dashes of elegant brushed brass for opulence. A perfect indulging space for bath time.
At the heart of the design sit our Porcelanosa Fiji Green Tiles. These glossy ceramic 10x20cm brick style wall tiles bring super refreshing, rich green tones into the space.
Wrapping around the walls at full height, the addition of a matching green painted ceiling adds to the desired darker mood for the space.
The tiles have been paired with the dark tones of our Porcelanosa Steel Antracita floor tiles. These porcelain tiles boasts a captivating dark metallic effect, a wonderful contrast to the glazed green wall tiles.
Next up was layering in those touches of gold. Our JTP Grosvenor Cross Concealed Shower and Bath Filler in Brushed Brass add a touch of opulence to the generously sized 1800x800mm Quantum SE Carron Bath.
The shower over bath setting is completed with our Eastbrook 6mm Straight Bath Screen in Brushed Brass.
Embracing the botanical feel of the space, a wood-effect vanity unit was selected. Our Calypso Persian floor-standing two-drawer vanity unit in Walnut offers plenty of storage to keep the space clutter free.
Its dark wood tones are a perfect fit with the glossy green wall tiles and dark metallic floor tiles. Brushed brass Floresta handles and the JTP Grosvenor Cross Basin Mixer in Brushed Brass complete the look.
The finishing element of the design is our JTP Grosvenor Wall Mounted Heated Towel Rail in Brushed Brass.
The completed space is warm and inviting, evoking a sense of nature, whilst also feeling elegant and luxurious.
